I love my profession! It’s about synergy. A culminating mix of experience, integrity, evolving product knowledge and committment to the client. There is no higher calling than to do your very best for someone else.
I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and moved to Guelph at the age of twelve. Guelph has been home ever since. I am a middle child between two brothers, or a rose between two thorns if you will. I was born with the blood of Real Estate flowing through my veins, my Father at the helm of various successful Real Estate companies. He was the best in the business and it would be years later that I would discover what a gift it was to have been mentored by him.
My Mother, however, will receive the credit for my compassionate side. It is difficult and often times exhausting work rescuing small animals and insects from less than favorable circumstances (tiny frogs in window wells, stray dogs and cats). But someone has to do it…right? Another passion of mine is building schools and homes in poverty stricken Latin America. It is tough physical work but soulfully rewarding. I believe that what you “put out” to the world…is what you “get back.”
The past twenty years have proven to be an incredible journey in my professional career, social life, family life, spiritual life and in technology (yikes!). When I’m not at work I can usually be found hugging my g-babies, helping out my daughter at the electric bike shop, reading great books , riding my scooter, cooking with friends or looking for the next great adventure. It’s a great life!
I earned my license to trade in Real Estate in 1990, at which time I made a promise to myself to be unlike any other Realtor in the field. I wanted to be the “most honest”, “most ethical”, “most knowledgeable”, “highest skilled” and “most personable” Realtor ever! I think I still am! (wink)
If you would like an unbiased opinion of me, unlike the one you just read, you can read the testimonials from my clients. They are in the ABOUT section. You can also find me on Facebook and LINKEDIN.
